Be aware of what you are thinking
Because your thinking has power.
“Be Aware Of What You Are Thinking” has been one of the first suggestions that we have heard from the self help industry. Our thoughts have power. When we think negative thoughts we receive negative experiences in our lives. Conversely, when we think positive thoughts we create positive experiences in our lives.
One of the earlier people in the self help field that has really been an influence for many of us is Louise Hay. Her recent passing affects those of us that understand what she is explaining to all of us. It is up to us to create our world. To be aware of what you are thinking can change your world, because you change your expectations and perceptions.
Loving ourselves has been one of the last things that many of us have been taught. As Louise says, you will be with yourself more than anyone else, so you should make it a Great Relationship. If you are like me, when I began to be aware of “my self talk”, I realized that I did not always say nice things about myself. Becoming conscious of just this one thing can make a change in your life.
Our inner child is part of who we are and understanding some of the “programmed thinking” that we have created within ourselves is an eye opener.
Louise Hay explains how important our converstaions in our head really are to the outcome of our lives. Believing in our own worth and value is easier said than done for many people. I still catch myself saying something negative to myself about something I did or said. We must watch out for these actions because repetition is one of the ways we begin to move into acceptance of our ideas.
The Louise Hay Interview
We are seeing many things that we have never seen before, both natural and man made. As part of coping with the changes that are happening around us, finding comfort and peace within ourselves is needed. Loving ourselves and treating ourselves with respect is important for us to practice in order to create the best outcomes.
Consciousness is a funny thing. We can recognize negative thoughts and choose to ignore them but they usually will not go away, we can dwell on them, or recognize them, and consciously choose to change them to something we prefer.
Be Aware Of
What You Are Thinking
If you believe in a higher power, than understand that you were created by this higher power and are important. No matter what you believe in, outside of yourself, you are your own best friend. Be That!
We can do more good for others when we are good to ourselves. This does not mean in a “greedy” or possessive way. When we are being good to ourselves, we stay in tune with our bodies and what our bodies need. We listen to our heart and recognize those feelings that are positive. Love creates positive emotions, when we are in a state of awareness of our heartfelt feelings.
With all the devastation that we have just seen all over the world, and within our own families, positive thoughts are even more important to create the change we want to see. We have seen proof that there is a Universal Consciousness. The time of opening our minds to understanding what we can do when we become aware of our own powers through thought processes is here.
