Democracy- Where Is It Going?
Our forefathers fought for democracy. Democracy and Freedom are words that mean many things to different people. Some people feel that they have “no freedoms” at all and other individuals feel they live “abundantly free”. It becomes a matter of perspective at some point, because in order to co-exist with anyone, there are individual freedoms that need to be considered when acting as a group of two or more. This is a matter of morality and integrity, including simple respect for another human being.
The following video and blog post is so inspirational. Hearing those that are speaking on our behalf talk in terms of respect for others, without making immediate divisions due to some differerence, gives hope for a new vision for the world we live in.
“We need more, not less democracy”

The time is now for us that are tired of constant war and division to find a way to put down our weapons and make the world a better place. Fear of each other is only creating more fear, which makes us weak. There are no winners or losers, especially when the evil just moves from one place to another. We just become more paranoid and more fearful.
Wishing all of us a new beginning based on respect for each other as fellow beings on this planet. We need to work together to repair some of the damage we have already managed to bring about to the world we all inhabit.
