lives can be difficult.

In this world of making money, buying and spending, we sometimes lose the important information about our lives. When we are young, we are still connected with our “inner desires”. As we live in this world of “Must Haves”, “Must Do’s”, “Must Be’s” and lives that are totally outer directed, we sometimes lose the inner knowledge that we have about our mission in this world. Today, it is even more important to find our mission, as our whole purpose of our lives can be lost by simply following the old paradigms.

Finding a way to make your life work and incorporate your personal mission statement in this world can be difficult. As a person with a desire to make a difference in our society, even from a young age, the struggle between earning a living and creating society change has been difficult and, at times, deceiving. Helping others “find a job” at first appeared to be a positive thing for humanity, plus an excellent money machine for me. However, a closer look at my endeavors, led me down a much darker path a few years ago.

Finding a way to be of service to humanity and create a profitable business does take a completely different approach to one’s life. Today, we can discover a variety of ways to be of service. Discovering our own strenths, talents, and passions is a start. The following video is so inspiring and I hope it will inspire you to put that thinking cap on for yourself.

Personally, I know what my passion is, and before I let my life completely slip away, I plan to make a difference in society with my own talents and skills. It has been many years since I received that Sociology Degree, expecting that I would be of service to others in my lifetime.

Today I have many more talents, skills and ways of being of service to those that I most want to serve. The knowledge I have gained can be transferred to others. The first thing to do if you are feeling this way, is to spend time with yourself, get to know who you are and how your life can make a difference. Our world is in a changing period, humanitarian efforts are respected as important goals. Take control of your future and find the best way for you to discover and effectively create a life that fulfills your purpose and makes that life you want possible.

Discovering our mission statement for our lives, is a matter of remembering who we really are, what makes us smile, and how we can share that with others. When we take the time to learn more about ourselves, without listening to all those outer voices, life becomes more meaningful.

As I am writing this I am also reading about Girls Who Code – Creator of a program that has helped many girls since 2012. It is amazing what we can do when we are ready to take our step to our own mission statement.

Do you have a mission statement for your life?

It is so exciting to see what is going on around us. When we turn off main stream media, we find that people are accomplishing many things for the human race. If you have that desire, start today, by simply taking the time to look at who you are, what you feel strongly about, and where you want to be part of change.

We can all make a better life for ourselves and others when we begin to wake up and realize that we can make the difference in our lives and others strictly by being ourselves. Amazing idea… right?

Maybe a new look at how we write our resumes is in order. Resumes are written for “get a job” purposes.

Writing Our Mission Statements seem to be a much more valued way for us to consider our next move in life.
