Astroturf?

Who would have thought that would ever be a

question for us to consider?

Astroturf was always very straight forward as that green stuff they used at indoor games and some people put in their yard so they didn’t need to water. We never really questioned if it was real.

The following video is very informative and we will never think of the word, “astroturf” in quite the same way. Now I hope we all begin to question:

Is it true or is it Astroturf?

The truth is hard to come by in many circumstances today. It has never been a more critical time for us to know the truth. The important decisions that we make for our lives today will have consequences long after we are no longer on this planet. So, the future well being of all living things now and tomorrow rely on the decisions we make today. We are awakening to the damage done by GMO’s, water and air pollution, healthcare untruths, effects of war on our planet, chemicals in our environment and many, many other destructive happenings on this planet.

The truth is needed for us to find ways to correct issues. Without having the knowledge of the need, the necessity of finding the answers does not exist. Cleaning our glasses a little bit is the first step to recognizing if what we hear, see or read is real or not. Once our glasses are cleaned, we might want to open up our minds to ideas that have been presented, but we automatically dismissed. It is very hard to realize that people we have trusted are not predisposed to telling the truth, but only offering us astroturf. Once we recognize it once, however, our glasses become even more clear for the next time.

When we begin to take time to open our minds and realize that not everything we think we know is true and not everyone we thought we could trust we can, then we come to a point of discernment. This is the point where we must find the information that “rings true” to us and follow our own beliefs about our decision making. It is a sad fact that because of systems that have evolved in our society, you must begin your own questioning with much of what we are exposed to today.
