Are you living your Dream Life?
Some of us came to a point in our life, where we were faced with following our heart or creating a smart life for ourselves. In my case I was told from a very early age, that wanting to be a Social Worker was not the life I should plan on having. Social Work at that time was not at all a career that would offer an individual an opportunity to support themselves.
Brendon Bruchard is a true motivator for our time. It took a near-death experience for him to look at his life more objectively. It did not take a near-death experience for me, but it did take the financial downturn for me to really look more deeply at my decisions. I love the following video because we need to consider our lives with open eyes, what we have done, and how it has affected others. When we realize our happiness does not lie only in the money we make, but in the internal feelings that affect our own self image. Once we begin to recognize the good, the bad and the ugly in our actions, we may find it is time to follow our dreams, destiny, desires or whatever you want to name it.
Now is the time for us to look more closely at our career choices. Are we living the best life we can at this time? Are we following our dreams? Did we let the “S.M.A.R.T. method determine our lives as we are living it today? Consider how satisfied you feel within. No matter how much money we make, the feeling inside of us is the important one. How do we feel about what we do everyday?
Moving forward from today is the best way to step into thte future that will bring you to living your dream.
“Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.”
