Rethink Your Life?

Not sure I understand what that means!!!

dreamstimeextrasmall_10284316-280x300

Do you feel like the world is pushing you to

rethink your life at this point?

Some of us are beginning to understand that our lives might hold a story we want to uncover.

A story that makes us question what we are doing and why.

As the world is shifting into more awareness of how the world has been working for so many years, we begin to question how we have made decisions, why we have made these decisions and are they the best decisions to keep following in the future.  The changes that we are experiencing, makes some individuals suggest to us that it is time for us to “Rethink our life”.

Follow your heartWow, that is a lot to think about.  Maybe if we just look at our NOW and see how we are feeling about our lives at this moment, it woundn’t make us feel so confused about tomorrow.    For most of us there are what can be called, “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” in our lives. The goal would be to be able to only experience the good, but we know that is difficult as we live in this world that is changing in front of our eyes.  We know in our hearts that change is a good thing, because nothing ever stays the same.  However, change is hard.  We tend to get comfortable and cozy into our “known, understandable lives”.

How do we “rethink our lives” without experiencing those emotions of “the bad” and “the ugly” again. The truth is I don’t think that we can make any significant changes in our lives, by rethinking only “the good parts”.  The other two parts of our lives, are usually where we learned many of our lessons and possibly need to change the most.  Example: Buning our hands on the stove–we remember-and we don’t repeat it.

rethink your life with loveWe learn many lessons from “the good” parts.

These are the lessons that usually make us

smile and feel very warm inside.

We still must work with those other two parts, without experiencing the trauma or unpleasantness.  The thing is that many of those traumas are actually past things you did to create those situations.  So if they seem to arise in your thoughts NOW, you can try looking at them from your new, more aware state.  These we can call the “the bad”, they are experiences you have already been through and lived through.

Rethinking Life
Lesson Learned
Do NOT Repeat!

If they were negative, ask yourself what you learned, and accept the lesson, without those emotions that you felt at the time.

Because it is past, you can now put it in your Ok-I Got That Lesson box and not repeat.

Current negative, fear-based experiences or the everyday nasty threats, we can call  “the ugly” are the ones that cause us the most stress.   Remembering that the current issues we are calling “the ugly” are also due to your past and your perceptions at the time, adds a sense of separateness to your fear-based thought process.  Our fear based thoughts, based on our “old understanding of life”, should be examined very carefully through your “rethinking your life eyes to decide where you are standing at this moment in your perceptions.    There is a lot of rethinking life these days as we are becoming more conscious of our personal relationship with life itself.

Our most recent generations are showing us that very thing.  The old patterns of “fear from power over us”, is releasing.   Rethinking life is opening up the rememberance that each of us live on a Free Will planet.   When we are ready to realize this, we learn a very big lesson, and begin our steps toward changing our lives.

Take the time to consider what is happening around you.  When we take the time to realize that social change is Humanity waking up to themselves.  Thank goodness for our new generations with open minds and open hearts.   They are not accepting our old fear-based living, such as eating school food which they know is not proper nutrition for their bodies, and making changes through their actions in prison reform, etc.   We also must give cudos to their parents and schools that support them in their projects.

flow like the riverOur lives are like a river flowing.  There are always going to be obstacles but as we learn to flow around those difficulties by creating something new, the ripples of the changes we make affect others.  We should think about making the ripples easier for us all to float through our lives easier.  When we see our lives as this river, we understand how much we can affect the whole system of movement throughout each of our lives.

I’m not a big fan of gunfight movies- but for those of you that don’t know “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”, was a Spaggetti Western made in 1966 with Clint Eastwood.  It was one of the more well-known Spaggetti Westerns during that time.
